After a grueling twelve-hour shift as a delivery driver, Thomas Merrow only wanted to go home, shower off the sweat, and sleep. But the universe had other plans.

“Save it,” she snapped. “I was gone for five minutes. Mind your own damn business next time.”

The mother called the police—on Thomas.
She reported him for vandalism and attempted abduction.
Even as EMTs arrived to check the baby’s vitals, the mother refused to acknowledge the danger her child had been in.

The mother was soon arrested for child endangerment.
